What is this account for?
I want to get rid of people I don't want to interact with. I could block them but I would still be paranoid. That's why I made the account private! It makes me feel safer since my tweets are protected. They would have to request a follow in order to see my tweets and I could ignore the request if I don't like them.

Don't request a follow unless I know you or if I told you to follow me! People I softblocked will be accepted or ignored depending if I'm fine with them now or not.

If you were wondering why you aren't following me anymore, it's because I softblocked you (I blocked and unblocked you so you no longer follow me). If you were softblocked, then it means I don't trust you to see my tweets anymore. It's mostly due to recent circumstances or a reason that I can't really explain.

Do not bother asking me why, I won't respond and I might end up blocking you if you continue.
